Lockdown Ending, Touch Football to Resume

Townsville Touch Football can confirm that due to the three-day lockdown ending at 6PM Friday July 2, all touch football competitions will resume as scheduled.

All scheduled games, including this Monday's round of the 2021 Colliers Shield remain unaffected, however Townsville Touch Football wish to advise all participants and officials of the following requirements:

MASKS
The QLD Government requires that masks are to be worn in situations where physical distancing is not possible, with the exception of when you are playing and/or training.

ARRIVE, PLAY, LEAVE
Please do not spend any more time than necessary at the venue. Do not arrive unreasonably early for your game, and do not stay at the venue too long after you finish playing unless you are involved in other games.

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING
Where possible, ensure that you adhere to current social distancing requirements (1 person per 2 square meters for outdoor areas). Do not gather in large groups outside of your playing team or immediate family.

PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE
Use the supplied hand sanitiser, or bring your own, before and after your match.

Townsville Touch Football will continue to monitor all advice and information from the QLD Government regarding the current COVID-19 situation. Should there be any changes to this advice which affect the operation of touch football competitions we will update our members via our social media channels and website.
